All images and text contained on this website remain the property of the photographer and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. Content may not be downloaded, reproduced, copied, projected, or used in any way without express written permission of the photographer. Various tracking systems may be in place at any time to identify unauthorized use. Unauthorized users agree that they will be liable. 


Articles or any written material will adhere to the Canadian Press style guide. If you have questions, please email us. 


We use Arial font 18pt.


Images should be no larger than 1080 pixels wide or 1080 pixels tall at 96 DPI JPEG format.


Please supply a title for your article. Photos should be numbered 1,2,3 etc in the order the photographer wants the photos inserted into the article.


All technical data, such as what equipment was used and the settings, as well as location information, in your image post is recommended.


For captive subjects, it is recommended a (c) be placed after the subject title text, as well as in the message text.


Signature lines are allowed one line for self-promotion on your images when submitting to the magazine.


Canadian Outdoor Photography Magazine reserves the right to refuse any images not conforming to the required size. By posting on our website you agree to adhere to our Terms of Use as well as to adhere to the above guidelines which are subject to change without notice.


We don't have a deadline for submissions, but we would like to see some articles or photos monthly.


Editor's Picks. 


Unless you tell us otherwise when you post your photo onto the Canadian Outdoor Photography website, all photos will be eligible for an” Editor's Pick."


All photo postings featured as an "Editor's Pick" will be archived and made available on the Website for posterity in the Editor's Pick archives.
Personal Portfolios will be archived and may later be used for feature articles.


All photos and articles remain copyrighted to the original photographer.


However, Canada Outdoor Photography Magazine reserves the right to use the photos as determined by the editor.


At any time the photographer may request by email, photos and articles be deleted from the website.
